Day 1: 187 Days To Go

My driver's license expires on October 31st of this year, which means I have 187 days until I get to pose for a new driver's license photo. I've got about 50 pounds that I would like to lose before then, so today is day 1 of:
  • No more excuses for not exercising
  • No more excuses for not eating right
  • No more excuses for feeling like I can't get healthy
  • Putting myself first, making time to work on getting healthy
What have I done for myself today? Breakfast was a healthy green smoothie:
  • 1 cup kale
  • 4 baby carrots
  • 1/2 medium banana
  • 1/2 large Granny Smith apple
  • 1 tbsp Crazy Richard natural peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup nonfat, plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
Nutrition: 309 calories, 10 g fat, 14 g protein.
